Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Nigerian striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, has revealed his conversation with Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, before his permanent move to Union Berlin.<\/p>\n

According to Awoniyi, Klopp urged him to sign for the German club, as they showed a big interest in landing him.<\/p>\n

Union Berlin paid a club-record transfer fee to acquire their top transfer target.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe (Klopp) said it was a good thing because he felt like everyone at Union wanted to sign me at the club.<\/p>\n

Liverpool striker, Taiwo Awoniyi granted UK work permit<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said it was the most important thing for a young player,\u201d Awoniyi told Kicker.<\/p>\n

Awoniyi signed for Liverpool after helping Nigeria win the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.<\/p>\n
