Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Borno Governor, Babagana Zulum has inaugurated 1,000 hunters to complement security agencies\u2019 efforts against Boko Haram.<\/p>\n

The induction was held in Khaddamari village, Jere Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n

Zulum hailed them for their sacrifice and support to his administration for sustained peace.<\/p>\n

The governor assured of adequate logistics support and timely payment of monthly allowances.<\/p>\n

The volunteers will protect the farming communities, in four local government areas, against terrorists.<\/p>\n

These are Maiduguri, Jere, Mafa and Konduga LGAs.<\/p>\n

Zulum thanked Rep. Ahmed Satomi (APC-Borno) and House of Assembly members from areas for mobilising the hunters.<\/p>\n

The governor visited Mulai and Dalwa communities on the outskirts of Maiduguri.<\/p>\n
