Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Leader, Bola Tinubu has been advised against running for the Presidency in 2023.<\/p>\n

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, said it\u2019s time for Tinubu to allow the youths to emerge as president.<\/p>\n

Bello said the former Lagos State governor should take a back seat and allow youths he has groomed to rule Nigeria.<\/p>\n

He, however, noted that though the APC National Leader has the right to contest in 2023, he should step back and allow the youths.<\/p>\n

Bello stressed that Nigeria is not a Banana Republic that one or two persons can see as their personal properties.<\/p>\n

According to Bello: \u201cSenator Tinubu is one of our leaders and I respect him so much. He has played a very significant role in Nigeria\u2019s democracy and has built a lot of people.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has paid his dues, and with all respect, as a son to him, my simple advice is that it is time for him to allow his children to take over the mantle of leadership and do it to the glory of God and his admiration.<\/p>\n

Restructuring means allowing youths take over leadership of Nigeria \u2013 Yahaya Bello<\/p>\n

\u201cHe should see that those children he raised are now doing well. Let him see how we manage this country in his lifetime.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, he has a right to run, nobody is questioning that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLet me tell you that Nigeria is not a banana republic, which a committee of one or two persons will see as a personal estate or property,\u201d Bello told Daily Trust.<\/p>\n

Amid speculations, Tinubu is yet to declare his intentions to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria\u2019s president.<\/p>\n

Recently his Media Aide, Tunde Rahman, denied claims that Tinubu opened a campaign office in Abuja.<\/p>\n

Despite his silence, Tinubu\u2019s campaign posters have been sighted in some states of the country.<\/p>\n
