Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Okpeazu, has approved the dissolution of the Governing Council of Abia State College of Health Science and Management Technology, Aba.<\/p>\n

The dissolution was announced in a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Chris Ezem, and made available to journalists in Umuahia, on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Governor Ikpeazu appreciated members of the dissolved council for their services to the state and wished them well in their various future endeavors.<\/p>\n

According to the release, the dissolution of the Governing Council of Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology is with immediate effect.<\/p>\n

In another development, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu dispatched a team led by his Special Assistant on Students Affairs, Mr Chibuzo Ndom, to the University of Jos, Plateau State, to evacuate Abia students who are currently stranded as a result of the recent violence and subsequent closure of the institution.<\/p>\n

This was disclosed in a release by the State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, and issued to newsmen in Umuahia on Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
