Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole, has said he joined the party to form an alternative platform capable of kicking PDP out of power.<\/p>\n

Oshiomhole who stated that his objective was achieved added that he has no regrets in spite of his removal from office.<\/p>\n

The former APC National Chairman said he was still an active member of the party.<\/p>\n

He also expressed optimism that Nigeria would hold a hitch-free general election in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201c I accepted what happened in good faith and I remain committed to doing whatever I can to support the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cAm still active in all APC activities and I don\u2019t think that I needed to be a chairman to be of relevance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t join the party to become chairman, I joined in order to form an alternative platform capable of kicking PDP out of power and that objective was achieved.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter the way things have gone. The primary purpose was not for me to be APC chairman,\u201d NAN quoted Oshiomhole as saying.<\/p>\n
