Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has signed the anti-open grazing bill into law, at the Government House, Enugu.<\/p>\n

The bill which is for a law prohibits open grazing, regulates cattle ranching, and for connected purposes was recently passed by the Enugu State House of Assembly.<\/p>\n

Recall that the Leader of the House, Rt. Hon. Ikechukwu Ezeugwu, had explained after the passage of the bill, that it would be cited as the \u201cProhibition of Open Grazing and Cattle Ranching Law of Enugu State,\u201d after the governor\u2019s assent.<\/p>\n

Gov. Ugwuanyi\u2019s assent to this bill is expected to improve security and peace in the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
