Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has given three conditions for a united Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Gbajabiamila said the federal government must be willing to guarantee and respect the fundamental rights of all citizens.<\/p>\n

He also said Nigerians must be free from want and possess resources to pursue their ambitions.<\/p>\n

The third condition Gbajabiamila listed is that insecurity must become a thing of the past.<\/p>\n

The Speaker, according to a statement signed by his media aide, Lanre Lasisi, listed these conditions while speaking at the 112th Founder\u2019s Lecture of the King\u2019s College Old Boys Association in Lagos on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cNigeria\u2019s unity is incumbent on our ability to do three things and do them well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first is to ensure that the government respects, protects and guarantees the fundamental rights of all citizens, without exception.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe second is to provide a society where people are free from want and have resources to pursue their dreams and achieve their best aspirations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe third is freeing our people from abject terror and accompanying limitations of wanton insecurity in all its forms.<\/p>\n
