Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>A notorious bandit in Katsina police net has indicted a ward head and two other persons as his accomplices in perpetrating banditry attack in Tsafe Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara State.<\/p>\n

The arrested suspect identified the ward head (Mai Unguwa Zailani), Abdulkadir Kado, and one Bala Sani among his accomplices.<\/p>\n

In the course of investigation, the 30-year-old notorious bandit, Jabiru Muhammed (aka DAN OGA) alleged that he works under the command of a notorious bandit he simply identified as \u201cChairman,\u201d currently hibernating in Zamfara forest.<\/p>\n

According to the Katsina police command, the suspect further revealed that he participated in the raid of Saburu village in Tsafe LGA where they kidnapped four children and were paid the sum of N2 million as ransom.<\/p>\n

\u2018Dan Oga\u2019 equally revealed how they broke into shops in Ungwar Dodo village in the same Tsafe LGA and carted away food stuffs among other items.<\/p>\n

A statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer, S.P Gambo, \u201cThe Katsina Police Command has succeeded in arresting one Jabiru Muhammed alias \u201cDAN OGA\u201d, \u2018m\u2019 aged 30yrs of Sabaru village, Tsafe LGA, Zamfara state, a notorious armed bandit.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the course of investigation, the suspect confessed to be under the control of one Chairman, a notorious bandit hibernating in Zamfara forest. He further confessed to have participated in the attack of Saburu village, Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State where four children were kidnapped and the sum of two million Naira (N2,000,000) was paid as ransom and also in the attacks on Unguwar Dodo village, of Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State where shops were broken and food items and other items were stolen.<\/p>\n
