Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Security at the National Assembly has been tightened in anticipation of the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari who us expected to lay the 2022 budget.<\/p>\n

The annual ceremony of laying of budget always have tolls on businesses within the National Assembly complex.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST observes that banks in the complex are shut down and other vendors selling food and other commodities will not be opened for business.<\/p>\n

There are several banks within the complex, however, none of the banks opened today.<\/p>\n

It would be recalled that both chambers of the National Assembly passed the revised Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) with some few adjustments to the proposal by Buhari.<\/p>\n

Also, the House on Wednesday held a long closed door session. It is believed that the session discussed the budget presentation.<\/p>\n
