Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has revived the State\u2019s Scholarship Board.<\/p>\n

Ikpeazu, through the board, sent some students from the State abroad to further their studies.<\/p>\n

A statement by the State government disclosed that the first batch of beneficiaries were sent to India.<\/p>\n

The scholarship beneficiaries would study Information Communication Technology, ICT, law, Engineering among other courses in India.<\/p>\n

The statement titled: \u201cOn the move,\u201d reads: \u201cGovernor Okezie Ikpeazu revived Abia State Scholarship Board, and for the first time in the history of the state gave these young Abians the opportunity to further their education abroad.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis batch left yesterday for India to study various courses including pharmacy, ICT, Law, Engineering etc.<\/p>\n

Others will go to designated countries where we have in place relevant agreements.<\/p>\n
