Africa-Press<\/a> – Nigeria<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Katsina State Chapter, Tukur Hassan Dan-Ali, has congratulated the newly elected NUJ National Executive members for their successful election during the 7th National Delegates Conference held at Umuahia, Abia State capital.<\/p>\n

Dan-Ali on behalf of Katsina journalists expressed confidence in the capacity of the Chris Isiguzo-led team to catapult the activities of the union to greater heights within the next three years.<\/p>\n

He also assured the Isiguzo-led national executives of the cooperation and loyalty of journalists in Katsina State in accordance with the union\u2019s constitution.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe particularly congratulate the union\u2019s president, Chief Chris Isiguzo over his re-election as Nigeria\u2019s number one journalist for the next 3 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cKatsina State journalists are of the belief that the team of Chris Isiguzo\/Alhassan will continue to make positive impact in the affairs of our great Union.<\/p>\n

\u201cJournalists in Katsina State will continue to remain loyal to the union\u2019s constitution as well as its leadership at all levels.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are also confident that the numerous achievements recorded during the first 3 years of Chris Isiguzo leadership in the NUJ will triple in the new 3 years ahead,\u201d Dan-Ali said.<\/p>\n

He also advised the newly elected national executives to discharge their duties with the fear of God in order to justify the confidence reposed on them by the delegates in the recent election.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe then advised the new leaders to put the fear of Allah in all their affairs and justify the confidence bestowed on them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe pray Allah to also guide them right throughout their tenure and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n
