Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Southampton forward, Theo Walcott, has claimed that Juventus midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, wants to return to Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Walcott, a former teammate with Ramsey during their time at Arsenal, believes the Wales international would jump at the opportunity of returning to the Gunners in the next transfer window.<\/p>\n

Ramsey left Arsenal for Juventus on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at Emirates in 2019.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old has endured an injury-ravaged spell in Juventus and the club are looking to sell him in the January transfer window if only to get his \u00a3400,000-a-week wages off the books.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll find out, give him a call and pester him (on if he\u2019s returning to the Premier League),\u201d Walcott told TalkSPORT.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you know what, it would be lovely, it would be fantastic if he came back to the Premier League. I feel like he would want to.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome part of me in my head thinks that he would love to come back to Arsenal. It does. Something about that would sort of tick a box.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s one of those things, he\u2019s at Juventus and he played very well for Wales last night and it\u2019s good to see. A lot of people have been on his back in Italy, which I haven\u2019t seen a lot or enough of it to comment on that.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s a leader. He\u2019s a workhorse. Still playing for his country and has all these caps.\u201d<\/p>\n
