Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The appeal committee constituted by the All Progressive Congress (APC) from the national headquarters of the party to look into complaints from aggrieved members of the party in Zamfara State has lamented the committee has not received any complaint from anybody.<\/p>\n

Addressing newsmen at the state secretariat of the party, the secretary of the committee, Barrister Usman Mohammed Eleju said they have been in the state since last week, saying that nobody has come forward with any complaints.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though we made adequate public enlightenment we have not received anybody with a complaint\u201d<\/p>\n

Fielding questions from newsmen over whether the committee would listen to all the factions of the party in the state, the secretary said to the best of his knowledge there was no faction of the party in the state.<\/p>\n

He said there has been no official letter to the national headquarters of the party given any faction in the state, saying that since the party has not received any official complaint, there was no official faction.<\/p>\n

Recall that the faction of former Governor Abdulaziz Yari boycotted all the Congresses in the state while senator Kabiru Garba Marafa conducted parallel ward and Local Government Congress.<\/p>\n

However, the case was taken to the Federal High court in Gusau, the state capital to rule on December 2nd 2021.<\/p>\n
