Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Ace British broadcaster, Andy Goldstein has advised Manchester United and Liverpool to get rid of their top stars, Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo, and battle to sign the best player in the world, Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.<\/p>\n

He said the two clubs must capitalise on the opportunity if it presents itself and cut ties with Salah and Ronaldo to bring in Haaland.<\/p>\n

Liverpool and Manchester United are among the European top sides that are reportedly interested in signing the hotshot.<\/p>\n

Haaland will come with a huge wage and his acquisition may mean Liverpool or United would have to cut ties with one of their key players.<\/p>\n

And Goldstein believes letting Ronaldo or Salah go for Haaland could be a sound investment.<\/p>\n

\u201cMohamed Salah is one of, if not the best player in the world right now. There\u2019s no doubt about that,\u201d he said on talkSPORT.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut Haaland\u2019s 21, Salah\u2019s 29. Apart from Messi and Ronaldo, it\u2019s very rare you get a player that when they become the best player in the world they stay there for a long, long time \u2013 like Luka Modric.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think Salah will continue these numbers\u2026 for him to continue this as he gets older is going to be very difficult\u2026 I\u2019d say it\u2019s a no-brainer.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaaland\u2019s only 21, he is an out-and-out goalscorer, he is a machine\u2026 He\u2019s going to be on about half a million pounds a week.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got 13 or 14 years until he\u2019s 35 but with Salah you\u2019ve got three years, four tops, of Salah being unbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked if he\u2019d swap Cristiano Ronaldo for Haaland, Andy said: \u201cEvery day of the week.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a no-brainer because Ronaldo\u2019s only got a year left, Haaland\u2019s got ten!<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you\u2019d get rid of anyone to take Haaland. You\u2019d get rid of Lewandowski to take Haaland. Lewandowski is getting to the end of his career.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manchester United brought back Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus in the summer and the Portugal international has emerged as a leading light at Old Trafford this season.<\/p>\n

The former Real Madrid star has scored 12 goals in 17 matches across all competitions for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Salah on the other hand is Liverpool\u2019s leading goal scorer this season with 15 Premier League goals in 18 matches.<\/p>\n
