This means the Super Eagles finished among the top five African countries.<\/p>\n

The three-time African champions are only behind Senegal (20th), Morocco (28th), Algeria (29th) and Tunisia (30th).<\/p>\n

This guarantees Nigeria\u2019s spot as one of the seeded teams for the 2022 World Cup playoff draws.<\/p>\n

Only the top five ranked teams are guaranteed a seeded place in Africa\u2019s World Cup playoffs draw, which is scheduled for January 26.<\/p>\n

The first leg fixtures will take place at the lower-ranked team\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

The lower-ranked teams are Egypt, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, Congo DR<\/p>\n
