Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Police Command in Zamfara State has confirmed the killing of Gada District Head in Bungudu Local Government Area.<\/p>\n

Alhaji Umaru Bawan-Allah and four others were murdered by bandits on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred in the early hours when the assailants stormed the community in large numbers with motorcycles.<\/p>\n

Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Elkanah told reporters that tactical operatives, the military and the vigilante engaged them.<\/p>\n

The CP assured the public that normalcy had been restored in the locality and environs.<\/p>\n

Routine confidence-building patrol by security forces will continue, Elkanah added.<\/p>\n
