Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Godwin Izilein, a former coach of the Super Falcons, has warned the Super Eagles against underrating any team if they are to win the trophy at the ongoing AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.<\/p>\n

Izilein issued the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Benin.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to win our matches before you talk of individual creativity.<\/p>\n

\u201cMinors in Africa are springing surprises; Algeria was humiliated by Equatorial Guinea while Cape Verde has also not let their people down in Cameroon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is to say that no team should be underrated, every team has an equal opportunity of winning the competition,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said Coach Augustine Eguavoen had shown that local coaches could hold their own when given a conducive atmosphere to operate.<\/p>\n

Izilein said he was not surprised at the performance of the players under Eguavoen.<\/p>\n
