Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) says he would have been dead if not for God\u2019s mercies.<\/p>\n
Speaking over the weekend at the Redemption Camp in Lagos as he marked his 77th birthday. the revered cleric said: \u201cBut for God, I won\u2019t be alive today. But for God, this would have been a memorial service.<\/p>\n
While urging the people to help him chant hallelujah, he said there is no need for them to find out the details, but to keep praising God.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is not all testimonies you can share in public. You share some of them, people would wonder.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember telling some of my children some moments ago that a certain General Overseer visited me not too long ago and he began to share all that God had done in his ministry and I kept on saying \u2018wonderful, praise God, Glory be to God.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter about one hour, he said; \u2018Daddy, I am the only one talking, you have not said anything.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I told him, Sir, if I tell you everything God has been doing for me, you will say God is partial. And that\u2019s why some of us can\u2019t say it all.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have to keep some of them. But there is one particular point that I must make this morning, I won\u2019t give you the details, but for God, I won\u2019t be alive today.<\/p>\n
