Three soldiers were killed by unknown gunmen, on Saturday in the Obonoma community in the Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.<\/p>\n
It was gathered that the gunmen, who were in military uniform, invaded the Samson Jack military checkpoint in the community around 8pm and opened fire on the soldiers.<\/p>\n
Punch reports that several others also sustained various injuries, apart from the three soldiers killed by the hoodlums.<\/p>\n
According to a source, the gunmen came on two motorcycles and operated for a little over a minute before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n
