Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>There was a fresh attack on Kurmin Masara in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.<\/p>\n

Youth leader of Atyap Chiefdom, Gabriel Joseph confirmed the attack to DAILY POST on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

He said after residents of Kurmin Masara deserted their community during the Sunday attack, the gunmen decided to attack Atisa, a nearby settlement of the same Kurmin Masara axis.<\/p>\n

He said the gunmen shot freely as there were no security personnel to counter them, just as the vigilantes in the area ran for dear lives.<\/p>\n

Joseph, who could not confirm if anyone was killed during the attack, said foodstuff, animals were carted away by the gunmen.<\/p>\n

The youth leader called on the government to take serious action to defend and protect citizens and their properties.<\/p>\n

Kaduna Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, did not pick his calls nor respond to text messages sent to him.<\/p>\n
