Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Cameroon captain, Vincent Aboubakar, has hit out at Egypt captain, Mohamed Salah, ahead of both sides\u2019 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, semi-final tie on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Aboubakar, who is currently the 2021 AFCON top scorer, said that Salah is not at the same level as Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old said that Salah doesn\u2019t impress him much, adding that the Liverpool star doesn\u2019t produce a lot of stuff in the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe [Salah] doesn\u2019t impress me much,\u201d Aboubakar told RFI.<\/p>\n

\u201cI say it clearly because I am an honest person and I have my way of seeing things. If he impressed me, I would say so. But he doesn\u2019t impress me much.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a good player, he scores a lot, but he doesn\u2019t produce a lot of stuff in the game. Of course, he is doing good stuff in the Premier League because he is been in a team that\u2019s been there for years.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a good player but not at the level of some like Mbapp\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aboubakar was the hero for Cameroon when they defeated Egypt with Salah in action in the final of the 2017 AFCON edition in Gabon.<\/p>\n

The winner in today\u2019s tie between Cameroon and Egypt will take on Senegal in the AFCON final on Sunday.<\/p>\n
