Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Katsina Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has disclosed that smugglers now conspire with terrorists to attack operatives stationed in border communities across Katsina.<\/p>\n

The Katsina Area Commander, Dalha Wada Chedi, disclosed this on Thursday while briefing newsmen shortly after a Customs\/Community Consultative Forum.<\/p>\n

Chedi said, \u201cdesperate smugglers now collaborate with bandits to attack us leading to casualties among our officers.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said some members of the community are bent on blackmailing customs activities using false allegations and rumour mongering.<\/p>\n

However, Chedi warned the smugglers to desist from such and look for a legal and viable venture to indulge in, saying no matter the tactics they deploy, the law will catch up with them sooner or later.<\/p>\n
