Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Vice-Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Professor Edward Olanipekun has congratulated an alumnus of the university, Dr Vincent Olatunji on his appointment as the National Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Data Protection Bureau by President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n

President Buhari recently approved the appointment of Dr. Olatunji as the CEO of the Bureau.<\/p>\n

Professor Olanipekun said he received the news of the award with joy and described Dr Olatunji as a worthy ambassador of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.<\/p>\n

The Vice-Chancellor further noted that the appointment was well deserved due to Dr Olatunji\u2019s track record of diligence, excellence and hard work, charging him to keep the flag flying.<\/p>\n

He thanked President Buhari for considering Dr Olatunji worthy of the appointment.<\/p>\n

Dr Olatunji, an alumnus and Honorary Awardee of Ekiti State University, was until the appointment, the Director, eGovernment Development and Regulations of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).<\/p>\n
