Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board, JAMB says the 2022\/23 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination( UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) Registrations will now commence Saturday, February 19th and end on the 26th of March 2022.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that the board had earlier scheduled the exercise for February 12, 2022.<\/p>\n

However, in a notice on Tuesday, JAMB said the postponement was to enable \u201cmore fine-tuning of the upgraded and user-friendly procedures for candidates\u2019 registration.<\/p>\n

It said the fine-tuning process will be concluded within the one-week extension period given before the commencement of registration.<\/p>\n

A statement by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Head, Public Affairs and Protocol, JAMB, said the development was also aimed at accommodating feedback from candidates and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Board wishes the general public to note that the Board is ever-ready to provide world-class services to Nigerians.<\/p>\n

\u201cFurther to the above, the new and improved procedures for the 2022\/23 UTME Registration would be made available on the Board\u2019s website, its weekly bulletin as well as other media outlets on Monday, 14th February 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe candidates are, by this notice, urged to follow keenly the procedures for registration as would be announced by the Board\u201d.<\/p>\n
