Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Sunderland striker, Kevin Phillips, has predicted the fate of Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino at Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Pochettino has been strongly linked with a move to Man United at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Man United is keen to appoint the Argentine as the team\u2019s next permanent manager to replace the current interim head coach, Ralf Rangnick, at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

But Phillips believes Pochettino will succeed at Man United if he eventually becomes their new manager.<\/p>\n

He said the former Tottenham Hotspur coach has a reputation for getting the best out of his players and will win trophies for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know where I sit with it. The Premier League is a completely different ball game. United has been used to winning trophies, but not so much of late,\u201d Pochettino told Football Insider.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe obvious accusation is that he never won any trophies at Tottenham but he did mould them into a good side. I think he [Pochettino] would have big funds to go out and sign the players he wants.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt Spurs, he didn\u2019t have that because of the money spent on the stadium. He can clearly get the best out of players, we saw that at Spurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you do that at United and the players you can bring in, they will win trophies. When you consider his style of play as well, it makes sense to me.\u201d<\/p>\n
