Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Football Pundit, Richard Keys has hit out at Manchester United\u2019s Cristiano Ronaldo, asking him to sign for Bournemouth if he wants to play every week.<\/p>\n

Keys also insisted the 37-year-old is \u201cpart of the problem\u201d at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo has 14 goals in all competitions since his return to United, including eight in the Premier League, but has now failed to score in his last six appearances.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the Portuguese veteran\u2019s longest goal drought for more than a decade.<\/p>\n

Interim boss Ralf Rangnick opted to leave Ronaldo out of his starting XI for the midweek draw with Burnley, preferring to start Edinson Cavani as the central striker.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure on the bench, only given a 20-minute cameo before storming down the tunnel after the full-time whistle.<\/p>\n

Much has been made of Ronaldo\u2019s on and off-field histrionics with the striker often showing signs of frustration with his younger teammates.<\/p>\n

And Keys, speaking on beIN Sports, said: \u201cJorge Mendes was talking to senior Manchester United executives about leaving at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy own view of that is that he should leave now.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been of the opinion all season long that I think he\u2019s as much a part of the problem \u2013 not the whole problem \u2013 as anything and anybody else.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other night, when he went running down the tunnel at Turf Moor, having recently lectured everyone about being the leader he believes himself to be and that youngsters don\u2019t do the sort of things he does\u2026how does that encourage team spirit in the dressing room?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was not good to see,\u201d co-host Andy Gray replied. \u201cTotally wrong for him to do that. He\u2019s obviously disappointed at not playing.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s playing against Burnley, the bottom of the league, he\u2019s thinking \u2018there\u2019s a few goals in this for me\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is 37 years of age and knows he\u2019s running out of time to play top football. You want to try and play as many games as you can.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keys then interjected, adding: \u201cThat\u2019s fine then, go and sign for Bournemouth and you\u2019ll play every week.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ronaldo played the entire 90 minutes on Saturday against Southampton but failed to score as United dropped more points in the race for a Champions League finish.<\/p>\n
