Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed how he reacted to Tottenham\u2019s defeat of Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The German also said that the defeat suffered by Pep Guardiola\u2019s side in the hands of Tottenham does not change anything, insisting that City could still win the league.<\/p>\n

Klopp urged his players to be \u2018100 per cent focused\u2019 on the immediate task of facing Leeds United in their next game and winning all the Premier League games to come.<\/p>\n

The former Borussia Dortmund manager spoke ahead of Liverpool\u2019s clash against a \u2018very brave\u2019 Leeds team on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Riyad Mahrez looked to have salvaged a point for Manchester City on Saturday but Harry Kane headed home a dramatic 95th winner to secure a famous win for Spurs at the Etihad.<\/p>\n

The result reduced Manchester City\u2019s lead over Liverpool in the league table to just six points and with victory at home to Leeds on Wednesday, the title race would be seemingly very close.<\/p>\n

The German gaffer was asked how he reacted to Spurs\u2019 win at City, and he told reporters, \u201cIn truth, I was on the way home when it was 2-1 to Tottenham and then I arrived at home and didn\u2019t follow it anymore because I was sure they would equalise anyway.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we went out and the driver was very excited and told me that it was 2-2 and 3-2. When he said 3-2 I thought City had won 3-2 and he said, \u2018No, Tottenham won 3-2\u2032, and I said: \u2018Oh!\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was my reaction. Nothing changed for us really, we have to win all our games.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe expect that [Manchester City to win all their games].\u201d<\/p>\n

Liverpool will take on Leeds United at Anfield on Wednesday evening before their Carabao Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have already won their first trophy of the season when they defeated Brazilian side, Palmeiras to lift the FIFA Club World two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Both clubs are still making strong statements in the Champions League having won the first legs of their round of sixteen ties comfortably against Inter Milan and Lille respectively.<\/p>\n
