Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Labour MP, Chris Bryant, has urged former Chelsea captain, John Terry to immediately delete his post on Twitter about Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich.<\/p>\n

Bryant branded Terry\u2019s message to Abramovich as \u2018appalling\u2019, insisting that the former England international was celebrating the Russian billionaire while Ukraine is being bombed.<\/p>\n

He said this after Terry paid tribute to Abramovich on Twitter on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Abramovich had confirmed on Wednesday that he is selling Chelsea, claiming that the decision \u2018is in the best interest of the club.\u2019<\/p>\n

Terry was Chelsea\u2019s captain for the majority of Abramovich\u2019s time at Stamford Bridge and following the 55-year-old\u2019s announcement, the former defender posted a photo of them together with the Premier League trophy along with the caption: \u2018The best.\u2019<\/p>\n

In response to Terry\u2019s message, Bryant urged the former footballer to delete the post \u2018ASAP\u2019.<\/p>\n

Bryant tweeted: \u201cThis is appalling.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think @JohnTerry26 you should take this down ASAP. The people of Ukraine are being bombed, shelled and murdered while you celebrate Abramovich.\u201d<\/p>\n
