Silva, 27, is on both Instagram and Twitter, with a combined 3.4 million followers.<\/p>\n

The Portugal international has made 37 appearances for Man City this season, scoring ten goals and registering four assists.<\/p>\n

\u201cBernardo Silva is never going to win the Ballon d\u2019Or because you\u2019ve to be on social media, you have to not just win but score a lot of goals and Bernardo doesn\u2019t have that quality,\u201d Guardiola told Sky Sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf one day it happens, I would love it, I would be happy for him like any other player that we\u2019ve here that one day would win the Ballon d\u2019Or. I would be more than grateful to experience that award with him. For me, as a manager, he can do everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain\u2019s Lionel Messi won the Ballon d\u2019 Or last year despite Bayern Munich\u2019s Robert Lewandowski being the bookmakers\u2019 favourite to win the award.<\/p>\n
