Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, has opened up on what he heard one of the assistant coaches of Ghana telling Black Stars central defenders Daniel Amartey and Alexander Djiku during their World Cup playoff on Friday.<\/p>\n

Nigeria and Ghana played out a goalless draw in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying playoff in Kumasi.<\/p>\n

While Osimhen led the Super Eagles attack, Leicester City\u2019s Daniel Amartey and Djiku were on the Napoli man and eventually stopped him from finding the back of the net in Kumasi.<\/p>\n

Osimhen had scored in previous away matches against Cape Verde, Central African Republic and Liberia until Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMostly the assistant coach will come up from the bench and say, \u2018go hard on him\u2019, Amartey and the other defender Djiku,\u201d Osimhen told Elegbete TV Sports.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were trying to do the assignment very well but they don\u2019t know we have some kind of deadly technique that can actually get the job done for us. We are really happy with our performance\u201d.<\/p>\n

He added : \u201cThey were trying to tame me, I am not the kind of player that makes simulations but when I\u2019m hit for sure I will go down, it\u2019s part of the game, but when the referee doesn\u2019t call for a foul it\u2019s normal to react.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care what people are saying about me falling down. The game was really a massive one, the whole Ghanaian fans came out for their team but we were pushed to get something out of the game\u201d.<\/p>\n
