Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Leke, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has tendered an apology to pastors after describing them as \u2018goats\u2019.<\/p>\n

Recall that Adeboye referred to all RCCG pastors, who nonetheless preach their very own messages after the GO had preached his sermon, as \u201cgoats\u201d.<\/p>\n

He disclosed that RCCG disciplinary measures have been received and he\u2019ll use the time to reflect.<\/p>\n

Adeboye apologised to all pastors hurt by his statement, adding that his words were not intended to insult or malign anyone.<\/p>\n

His post on Instagram read: \u201cMy sincere apology, I wish to use this medium to tender my unreserved apologies on the statement made from my social media handle about some of our esteemed pastors<\/p>\n

\u201cThe disciplinary measures taken by the mission is well received and this period will be used to reflect and introspect.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish to crave your indulgence to please forgive my extreme statement which I wish to emphasise was absolutely not intended to insult or malign.<\/p>\n

\u201cI also wish to apologise profusely to the entire leadership and pastors of our beloved church who might have been hurt by this statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remain humbly yours in God\u2019s love and mercies. Yours in His service.\u201d<\/p>\n
