Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the national team will take on Mexico in a friendly ahead of the 2022 World Cup.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the tournament which will be held in Qatar, but El Tri are among the 29 teams that have booked their spots.<\/p>\n

Mexico will play in Group C alongside Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Although they don\u2019t have any African country in their group, Gerardo Martino\u2019s men will take on Nigeria as part of their preparations for the World Cup.<\/p>\n

The friendly will be played in Texas, US on May 28.<\/p>\n
