Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former France International, Emmanuel Petit, has named his countryman, Kylian Mbappe as the best player in the world.<\/p>\n

He also said that his country\u2019s chances of defending their World Cup title in Qatar are likely to depend on Kylian Mbappe.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old Mbappe has already scored 26 goals in 54 games for France and Petit, a former Les Blues is expecting an impressive tournament from the Paris Saint-Germain in-demand striker.<\/p>\n

Mbappe picked up the Best Young Player award at the last World Cup in Russia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think [France head coach] Didier Deschamps has a bright idea of how he wants the team to play and we have the best player in the world as well, with Mbappe,\u201d Petit said, according to Sports bible.<\/p>\n

\u201cMbappe, his destiny is written in gold. Everything he touches is transformed to gold,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
