Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Presidency, on Monday, berated those criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari over the state of the nation.<\/p>\n

Buhari\u2019s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said some of Buhari\u2019s critics are trying to divide the country.<\/p>\n

He said those who divided Nigeria with their mouths and evil thoughts are accusing the President of the same.<\/p>\n

In a tweet, Buhari said their intentions to divide the country would not work.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who divided Nigeria with their mouths, with evil, unguarded speaking, are the ones now accusing President Buhari. How sad! Their wicked intentions shall not come to pass,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Adesina\u2019s comment is coming after the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Kukah called out the Buhari administration.<\/p>\n

Kukah accused the Buhari administration of having shown far greater commitment to integrating so-called repentant terrorists than getting school children and thousands of others back from kidnappers or keeping Nigerian universities open.<\/p>\n

Also, the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, had called for Buhari\u2019s resignation over the spate of insecurity in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
