{"id":63650,"date":"2022-04-24T14:43:04","date_gmt":"2022-04-24T13:43:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/2023-saraki-tasks-kwara-pdp-on-commitment-to-victory"},"modified":"2022-04-24T15:52:00","modified_gmt":"2022-04-24T14:52:00","slug":"2023-saraki-tasks-kwara-pdp-on-commitment-to-victory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/2023-saraki-tasks-kwara-pdp-on-commitment-to-victory","title":{"rendered":"2023: Saraki tasks Kwara PDP on commitment to victory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>National leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, at the weekend, charged members of the party in Kwara State to unite and secure victory for the party in next year\u2019s general elections.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Ilorin on Saturday at a meeting with aspirants of the party, he said the time has come for members of the PDP in Kwara State to unite.<\/p>\n<p>Saraki said, \u201cit is paramount for the PDP to secure victory in 2023 for the good of its members and the entire people of Kwara State.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saraki, according to a statement by his Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, commended stakeholders, aspirants and their supporters for their cooperation so far, but noted that a lot still needs to be done to ensure that their efforts do not end in vain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs aspirants, you made commitments, and promises, now is the time to stand by your words,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n<p>He added that not just the aspirants, but all members must ensure that all hands are on deck to guarantee the party\u2019s victory in the 2023 elections.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need everyone to win this battle as prosperity and development abound when the PDP forms the government in Kwara and Nigeria,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The former Senate President, who on Friday, emerged as the PDP consensus presidential candidate from the Northern axis, also appealed to stakeholders to be just, fair and unbiased in the emergence of candidates of the party.<\/p>\n<p>All aspirants who spoke at the meeting assured the leadership of the party of their readiness to work together and deliver victory for the PDP in the coming general elections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
