Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Suspected terrorists have killed about five passengers, including a vigilante member, along the Sabon Gari-Kampani Road, Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.<\/p>\n

A source, who spoke to DAILY POST, disclosed that the affected passengers were killed by the bandits terrorising the area.<\/p>\n

A resident of Wase town, who sought anonymity, explained that a vigilante member and one other person were ambushed by the bandits, stressing that the remaining three were killed at a stop-and-search operation.<\/p>\n

According to the source, 20 passengers were kidnapped in the incident when the bandits attacked the passengers.<\/p>\n

He explained that the vigilante member and one other person were on a motorcycle from Sabon-Gari to Kampani when the bandits attacked them, killed them and went away with their motorcycle.<\/p>\n

He added that, \u201clater, when the villagers were returning after market hours, they were stopped and kidnapped. Three of them were killed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Police Command in Jos is yet to make official confirmation of the incident.<\/p>\n
