Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Niger State Governor and Chairman North Central Governors Forum NCGF, Abubakar Sani Bello, has urged Muslim faithful not to relent in praying for peace and development of the nation in the face of various challenges confronting it.<\/p>\n

Bello stated this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mrs. Mary Noel-Berje in Minna to felicitate with Muslim faithfuls on the completion of the Ramadan fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.<\/p>\n

He implored them to sustain the lessons of Ramadan beyond the period for a better society, adding that the Eid-el-Fitr celebration is a period of love, tolerance and goodwill to all.<\/p>\n

\u201cI congratulate Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of the annual spiritual exercise of fasting, supplications and helping the needy in accordance with the teachings of the Qur\u2019an and the Hadith,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The governor also reassured all citizens of Niger State of his commitment to making sure that insecurity becomes a thing of the past in the state.<\/p>\n

According to him,\u201dSo far, significant successes have been recorded in the fight against terrorism in the state and we pledge that the state will continue to relentlessly work closely with all security agencies, for an enduring peace in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n
