Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Manchester United, Paul Parker has called on the club to sign N\u2019Golo Kante from Chelsea this summer.<\/p>\n

Parker said he would love to see De Jong link up with Kane, and with United outcast Donny van de Beek in the Red Devils\u2019 midfield.<\/p>\n

The Mirror reported last week that the French midfielder has emerged as a target for United.<\/p>\n

Kante\u2019s contract with the Blues expires in summer 2023 and there are no signs the west London club wants to let the 31-year-old leave.<\/p>\n

However, Parker said he would love to see the France international join Manchester United, believing he would bring a lot to a team that has lacked his ball-winning skills.<\/p>\n

\u2018He (Kante) will improve Manchester United\u2019s midfield a hundred per cent,\u201d Parker told Indiabetting<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause he can go and get the ball out of people without always fouling them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe doesn\u2019t go around looking to hurt people and when he does get the ball, he keeps the ball<\/p>\n

\u201cKante has won numerous medals, made it in big, big games and for him to come from Leicester to Chelsea to Manchester United would be an incredible journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it possible? I think you look at maybe what\u2019s happening at Chelsea and it might be possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cNormally I\u2019m quite negative about things when they\u2019re said like that. But this one is possible and I like it. I like the idea of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be interesting with a midfield where we\u2019re talking about Kante, we\u2019re talking (Frenkie) de Jong, we\u2019re talking van de Beek,\u2019 said Parker.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it going to be, on the eye, the most intimidating midfield, and you got workaholics in there. You got people who are going to keep the ball and dominate and it will<\/p>\n
