Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick has revealed his \u2018biggest disappointment\u2019 at the club as he walks away from his managerial duties.<\/p>\n

The time of the German interim manager in charge of the club ends on Sunday after their last Premier League game of the season against Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n

Rangnick was called in six months ago to replace sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a six-month deal that runs out in June.<\/p>\n

The German did not make any tangible progress as the club was eighth when Solskjaer left and is either finishing sixth or seventh, failing to qualify for next season\u2019s Champions League.<\/p>\n

The period he spent managing the club has generally been viewed as a failure and he was asked to identify his \u2018biggest disappointment\u2019 at his final pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince Atletico, we just didn\u2019t find our shape or form again,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore then we had stabilised the team, become more stable defensively. But then we lost confidence and energy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has got to do with confidence, team spirit and togetherness. This is my biggest disappointment that we didn\u2019t establish that team spirit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still strongly believe that there is a core of players here who are top, good enough to play for this club.\u201d<\/p>\n
