Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Jigawa State Governor, Badaru Abubakar and one of the All Progressive Congress, APC presidential aspirants have said the Northern Governors are ready to succumb to President Muhammadu\u2019s decision over the plan to give APC presidential ticket to the southern part of the country.<\/p>\n

Badaru stated this in an interview with BBC Hausa service on Sunday.<\/p>\n

He, however, expressed dismay over some social media reports that the position of Northern governors for the South had been approved, saying it was just a recommendation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe truth of the matter, it is just an advice that will be taken to Baba [Buhari], if he agrees to take it if he does not agree then whatever he decides is what we are going to work on it his since we are all Northern Governors are loyal to him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of us are loyal to him and will not go against his decision\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said the governors of Kebbi, Plateau and Nasarawa have been assigned to go and advise on our decision\u201d<\/p>\n

Governor Badaru also debunked reports of his alleged withdrawal from the race, saying he could not withdraw except President Buhari says so.<\/p>\n
