Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Victor Osimhen will lead the Super Eagles attack in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The encounter is billed for the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.<\/p>\n

Cyriel Dessers led the line in the team\u2019s friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador, but will now make way for the Napoli striker against the Leone Stars.<\/p>\n

According to camp sources, Osimhen has shone in all the team\u2019s training session and is certain to get the nod ahead of the other strikers.<\/p>\n

Osimhen has been the team\u2019s leading marksman since Odion Ighalo retired from international football after the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.<\/p>\n

Umar Sadiq, who plays for LaLiga club, Almeria, is the other striker in the team.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles will have their final training session ahead of the game at the practise pitch of the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
