Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Katsina State metropolis was attacked by terrorrists in the early hours of Tuesday, kidnapping at least eight persons.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST gathered that the gunmen, who were riding on motorcycles, stormed Shola Quarters behind the Federal Medical Centre in the city capital around 4 am.<\/p>\n

Although no life was lost in the attack, some residents got injured while fleeing.<\/p>\n

Spokesperson of the state police command, SP Gambo Isah, who confirmed the report, gave the names of the abductees, all residents of Shola Quarters consisting of five males and one female as: Tanimu Adamu, Abdullahi Isiya, Isiya Rabiu, Ibrahim Adamu, Mannir Jayi and a woman whose name is yet to be disclosed.<\/p>\n

However, Gambo noted that one of the kidnapped victims, Mannir Jayi, managed to escape from the abductors and is helping the police with the investigations.<\/p>\n
