Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Watford new boy, Maduka Okoye, has said he is enjoying his stay at the Vicarage Road.<\/p>\n

Okoye joined the Hornets from Eredivisie outfit, Sparta Rotterdam last season but spent the remainder of the campaign in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

The Nigerian international feels he has really settled in his new environment after recently linking up with the London club for pre-season training.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been fantastic. I\u2019ve had a great time already, there are funny guys and good vibes here,\u201d Okoye told the club\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that\u2019s important, we feel connected to other players and the staff, I\u2019m settling in very well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old also reflected on his time during pre-season with his new teammates.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was nice, we had a good time,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe worked very hard but we had fun and a smile on our faces, and we made steps in the right direction. Now we\u2019re back and continuing with our hard work.\u201d<\/p>\n
