Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Nigerian Union of Journalists, Osun State Council has felicitated the Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, over his victory in the just concluded governorship election in the state.<\/p>\n

Adeleke was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday\u2019s gubernatorial election.<\/p>\n

In a statement by the Chairman of the Union, Wasiu Ajadosu and the Secretary, Bukola Elufadejin, the union urged the governor-elect to be magnanimous in victory and see his victory as an opportunity to improve the life of the citizenry as well as an avenue to uplift the socio-economic life of the state.<\/p>\n

The statement implored the winner to run an all-inclusive government and listen to every stratum of the society to give every citizen a desired sense of belonging.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou must never lose guard and endeavour to make people the core of your administration by realizing that sovereignty belongs to the people, therefore, government\u2019s programmes and policies must be people-oriented.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope and pray that you will bring your political experience to bear in this new assignment,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n
