Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, has disowned a post on Facebook which claimed that he advised the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to give his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, a chance.<\/p>\n

In a Twitter post on Tuesday, Akufo-Addo labelled the information as false and mischievous.<\/p>\n

The Ghana president made it clear he would never interfere in Nigeria\u2019s politics.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy attention has been drawn to a disturbing post making the rounds on social media, where it is alleged I have written to the 2023 presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to \u2018give Peter Obi a chance and seek treatment for his health\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is completely false and mischievous, with no iota of truth whatsoever in it,\u201d Akufo-Addo wrote.<\/p>\n

He added that \u201cGhana and Nigeria boast of decades of cordial, strong and brotherly relations,\u201d and he is \u201cnot going to be the one to interfere in the internal affairs and politics of Nigeria.\u201d<\/p>\n
