Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu Muazu, has expressed optimism that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate will win the 2023 election.<\/p>\n

Babangida said Atiku should win the February election because Nigeria needs him.<\/p>\n

He spoke at the inauguration of the Central Planning Committee (CPC) of the PDP Ward 2, Ward 2022 National Conference, in Abuja, yesterday.<\/p>\n

The former governor cautioned the committee against distraction, stressing that they should remain focused.<\/p>\n

He urged the committee to look away from money as they campaign for Atiku\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n

The former governor said members of the committee should go to the grassroot and campaign for Atiku.<\/p>\n

According to Babangida: \u201cI appreciate the W2W for the work you are doing. You are so far the grassroots pillar and support group of the party and we are very proud of you.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goal of this campaign is for Atiku to win the election come February next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want Atiku to win, but we have a lot to do to ensure that.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis nation needs Atiku. Go to your polling units and deliver the message of hope.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t be bothered by the few irritants here and there. Don\u2019t be distracted but remain focused.\u201d<\/p>\n
