Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has likened the agitator to the Biblical rock of Gibraltar.<\/p>\n

Ejimakor said Kanu remained strong despite being locked up by the Department of State Services, DSS.<\/p>\n

He said Kanu is happy with the support from followers and the United Nations, UN.<\/p>\n

Ejimakor disclosed this after a routine meeting of IPOB\u2019s legal team with Kanu at the DSS headquarters in Abuja.<\/p>\n

In a tweet, Ejimakor wrote: \u201cUPDATE: My visitation with Onyendu #MNK just concluded. Like the rock of Gibraltar, MNK remains strong.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe derives quantum comfort from the support of the legions that believe in his cause & the vindication brought by the Umuahia judgment & UN directives. He salutes the faithful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kanu has been in DSS detention since 2011.<\/p>\n

In June 2021, the IPOB leader was arrested in Kenya and repatriated to Nigeria.<\/p>\n
