Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has slammed Manchester United\u2019s winger, Jadon Sancho over his poor performance for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Sancho was one of the brightest English talents while at Borussia Dortmund and was known for taking on defenders.<\/p>\n

But the player\u2019s performance has obviously dropped since making the switch from the German side to Old Trafford as he hardly dribbles past any player.<\/p>\n

And the 54-year-old Merson, who was also a winger during his playing days, said that despite his age, he can do better than the 22-year-old Sancho if given the opportunity to return to the pitch.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can do what Sancho is doing at the moment and I\u2019m 54. When was the last time you saw him beat a player?<\/p>\n

\u201cHe doesn\u2019t run with the ball, he takes a few touches inside and lays it backward,\u201d the Arsenal legend told Daily Star.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese players are getting paid top, top dollar. They are supposed to be elite and the people upstairs are also getting paid fortunes to find them.\u201d<\/p>\n
