Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Zamfara State Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has directed all staff listed under the State\u2019s Urban and Regional Planning Board (ZUREPB) by the State House of Assembly for redeployment to report immediately to the permanent secretary of the ministry.<\/p>\n

This was contained in a press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital by the permanent secretary, Kabiru Yusuf Gusau.<\/p>\n

He said the State House of Assembly resolution No 31, directing the Commissioner, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Muktar Ahmad Darma to deploy all professional and non-professional staff under Zamfara Urban and Regional Planning Board ZUREP back to the Ministries by Monday, 22nd August 2022 must be obeyed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the affected staff are by this notice directed to unfailingly report to the office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development on Monday, 22 August 2022, for onward redeployment\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy this directive, therefore, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development wishes to enjoin members of the general public to desist from any form of transactions relating to ZUREP until further directives are issued\u201d<\/p>\n

Recall that the State House of Assembly last week directed a committee to investigate sharp practices in the Zamfara State Urban and Regional Planning Board, ordering the commissioner of Housing and Urban Development to immediately deploy the Director, administration and that of finance to the ministry.<\/p>\n

The House explained that the deployment would help the committee to carry out its assignment perfectly.<\/p>\n
