Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Authorities of 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, have advised residents of Ogoja and Yala local government areas of Cross River State not to be scared when they see heavy movement of troops and their armament from Monday.<\/p>\n

In a statement signed by the acting Deputy Director of the Army Public Relations of the Division, Lt Col Abubakar Abdullah I, he said the Army will conduct Inter Division Combat Company Orienteering and Adventure Competition at Ogoja from Monday.<\/p>\n

He listed that seven communities in the two nearby local government areas will host the competition where such movement will take place and armament displayed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe communities include Okuku, Emaje, Akwuniyi, Bekwara Abocheche, Atakpa and Shibori.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese communities will witness increased movement of troops for the exercise. Hence, we advise the people not to panic but to remail calm and go about their normal lawful activities peacefully,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
